Kindergarten Registration

You can download a registration packet and find out more on the district website including immunization requirements. 

Open Enrollment

Open Enrollment is an opportunity for each student who resides permanently within the boundaries of Sacramento City Unified School District to apply for enrollment for schools (Grades K-8) within the district, when space is available. 

The 2022-2023 Open Enrollment period will open in February 2023. Please go to the SCUSD Open Enrollment website for more information on how to apply. 

Applying for High School Specialty Programs

The High School Specialty Program Application is an opportunity for each student who resides permanently within the boundaries of the Sacramento City Unified School District (SCUSD) to apply for enrollment in a SCUSD high school specialty program, based on space availability. The application period for the 2022-2023 school year will open in November 2022. SCUSD offers specialty programs at both our neighborhood and small specialized high schools.
